COLLECTIF BLACKBOX
Montreal, Canada
Visitors are invited to activate the carillon, made up of 30 luminous tubes and eight loudspeakers, and watch the space transformed by light and sound. At rest, with no interaction, the Chimes tends towards a state of equilibrium. All it takes is a gust of wind or interaction with the audience to transform the atmosphere of the space, and new patterns of light and sound emerge. Each clash of the carillon’s blades disrupts the audiovisual environment and is likely to generate divergent evolutions. The innumerable combinations offer the audience a multitude of alternatives to explore.
