Showcase your public spaces and amplify their presence online with installations from QDSinternational.

Echo, New York
Interactive public art installations are more than just works to admire — they’re powerful tools to generate shared content and reposition public spaces as vibrant, attractive, and Instagrammable places.
Here’s why more and more cities are embracing this strategy:
-
Create natural opportunities for digital sharing
By offering photogenic, immersive settings, the public is invited to capture and share moments on social media. -
Promote the city and its public spaces
Every post becomes a showcase for the municipality, visible well beyond its local community. -
Boost visibility through hashtags and geolocation
These tools amplify the reach of each post and help position the location as a must-see destination. -
Turn installations into destinations of their own
These works become landmarks and gathering points that animate and enrich public spaces.
Discover the case study of Prismatica
The public art installation Prismatica, created by Raw Design, is made up of 25 prism-shaped structures that form a colorful, light-filled labyrinth. Each prism is covered in dichroic film panels that, by day, play with ambient light and the viewer’s perspective to reveal shifting rainbow hues. By night, built-in projectors at the base of each prism illuminate the installation, transforming the space into a vibrant, living canvas of color and changing patterns.
In 2024, the work was hosted in Downtown Atlanta, at the heart of Woodruff Park. This case study highlights the positive outcomes of its deployment — notably the significant media impressions and visibility it generated for the city.
A Concrete Tool to Demonstrate a Municipality’s Commitment to Public Art
More and more municipalities are choosing to integrate interactive art installations into their public spaces. It’s a tangible way to show the importance of culture in urban development and to create lively, inclusive, and engaging spaces for residents. The benefits for municipalities are numerous:
-
Strengthen the creative identity of the territory
Welcoming an interactive installation highlights contemporary culture and positions the city as a dynamic, forward-thinking, and artistically open community. -
Show a clear commitment to public art
Installing a temporary artwork reflects the municipality’s intention to invest in accessible, free cultural experiences for all. -
Animate public spaces and encourage community engagement
These installations become gathering points, encouraging visitors to pause, interact, and take ownership of their public spaces.
