An autumn 2023 rich in international meetings

October and November were particularly busy months for the Quartier des spectacles international team. HUB Montréal (Canada) opened the ball of events from October 16 to 18followed by Creacción, la creatividad en el centro in Valdivia (Chile), from November 15 to 17, and ending with the presentation of the artwork Eloge de l’air by Chevalvert to Numix Lab participants at Plaisirs d’Hiver in Brussels (Belgium), on December 5.

Our participation in the 7th edition of HUB Montréal

From October 16 to 18, we had the honour of participating in the 7th edition of HUB Montréal, the local, national and international business development marketplace for digital creative companies, primarily in the culture and entertainment sectors.

Through an immersive tour of the Quartier des Spectacles orchestrated by Marie Lamoureux of the Quartier des Spectacles Partnership, we had the privilege of presenting two recent Quebec artworks added to our catalog in the presence of their creators: Prismaphonik by William Simard and Anthony Gagnon Boisvert, and Splinter by Ottomata, installed on the Place des Arts esplanade.

This event, which has become a must-attend for us, was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with creative industry professionals from around the world and to discuss our visions for the future of interactive art in public spaces.

Our presence at Creaccion, la creatividad en el centro – Chile

On November 16, our Managing Director, Guillaume Aniorté, had the opportunity to provide detailed answers to market and international development questions at the “Creacción. Creativity at the center”.

This non-profit organization is part of “Camino a MICSUR”, which aims to prepare players in the creative ecosystem for their participation in MICSUR 2024 (Cultural Industries Market of the South). This event will be held in Chile in April next year.

These exchanges enable us to share our experiences and draw inspiration from each other’s backgrounds.

Éloge de l’air by Chevalvert travels in Brussels

As part of Numix Lab, the annual international meeting initiated by Xn Québec regrouping key players from the digital creative industry, participants will have the honor of discovering Éloge de l’air with the exclusive presence of its creator, Stéphane Buellet from Chevalvert Studio at Plaisirs d’hiver in Brussels, an annual event featuring cultural activities and Europe’s most beautiful Christmas market.

For Guillaume Aniorté, our Executive Director who was present, this event was a real opportunity to exchange and share ideas on interactive art in public space.

Take part in a timeless experience celebrating air, movement and light at the foot of the Mont des Arts in Brussels until January 1st, 2024.
